Kent Gorton
Kent Gorton is a west coast native, having grown up in Seattle, WA. Kent comes from a flying family, his first flight
in his fathers Cessna 120 was at the age of 2 months. He flew Cubs and Citabrias since the age of 8 and soloed gliders at the age of 14. He has flown model airplanes since the age of 7 where he first learned to appreciate aerobatics.
Kent Graduated from the University of Washington and went on to own or manage several small businesses before earning his pilots license so he could fly a Pitts. He competed in several IAC competitions in that little red Pitts and became an aerobatics instructor for the Acroflyers Aerobatic Team based in Seattle.

started flying Airshows with the Acroflyers in 1995,
and was discovered by the Toyota Airsports team while
performing in an airshow in El Paso, Texas. After an
intense training program he became the Toyota
demonstration pilot; flying 20 shows annually across
the country. Kent flew four seasons for Toyota
Airsports as the demonstration pilot from 1997 to
2000.
He then went on to fly for TWA until it was purchased by American Airlines. Then he found work as a charter pilot often flying medical transplant teams across the country in light twins, turboprops, and small jets. Kent is currently a Captain flying a Canadair Regional Jet for an Atlanta based airline.
